I’m Sergio Bartual, a Director + Cinematographer based in Valencia, working worldwide on films, documentaries, commercials & music videos.

My journey in the audiovisual field began with my studies in Audiovisual Communication at the Universitat Politècnica de València, where I first explored the language of cinema and developed an understanding of how visual storytelling can become a powerful narrative tool. During this time, I realized that what truly attracted me was not simply capturing images, but crafting visual atmospheres capable of conveying emotion, meaning, and perspective.

Today, I continue to develop my career as a cinematographer and filmmaker, working on projects that aim to unite storytelling, visual aesthetics, and emotional resonance. My goal is to keep growing within the film and audiovisual industry, collaborating with creative teams, brands, and filmmakers who recognize the power of meaningful storytelling.

With growing experience, I decided to take the next step and launch my own audiovisual venture. This led to the creation of kino studios, a Creative Production Company focused on developing audiovisual content for brands, companies, and cultural projects. At kino studios, our philosophy is clear: to understand the origin and essence of each brand in order to tell its story in an authentic and human way.

Through this entrepreneurial journey, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with various companies and emerging brands, creating projects that combine narrative depth, cinematic aesthetics, and visual strategy.

Alongside my professional work, I continue to develop personal and experimental projects, convinced that creativity grows when there is space to explore beyond commercial constraints. One example is the fashion film VOID, a collaborative project with an emerging designer (Guillermo Justicia) that allowed me to experiment with new visual languages and aesthetics.

Ultimately, the true value of a project does not depend on the size of the brand behind it, but on the authenticity of the story it chooses to tell.
